Chapter Twelve

Alex was wearing her favorite latex dress. It wasn’t any good for getting it on in the club, since it was so tight it was a bit of a hassle to get out of, but today she wasn’t planning on having sex. On the contrary. Sex was off the table, so in a way, the dress was a good reminder not to let her libido get out of control. Plus, wearing it always made her feel extra sexy and confident, a combination that couldn’t be beat.

As she walked into the locker room, she dropped her bag on a bench. In it, she’d packed all the supplies she’d need for her demonstration with Benedict.

After family day, she’d messaged Jessica to let the club owner know she would do the scene with Benedict. She reasoned that not only was she giving back to her community, but it would also help end some of the gossip floating around in the club. If she could show everyone that she was fine doing one scene with Benedict and then move on to do scenes with some of her other scene partners, people would soon get bored with watching how they acted around each other.

Of course, Alex herself knew those weren’t the actual reasons she’d agreed to do this.

Anticipation made her tingle at the thought of indulging in a scene with the man whom she’d always craved whenever he’d been near. Apparently, even four years and the hurt he’d put her through hadn’t put a damper on her attraction to him.

His size and build were attractive, but she also loved his slightly rugged demeanor and the way his hazel eyes sparkled against his tanned skin. In the club, he tended to wear chest harnesses, and the sight of black leather against the curly hair on his chest was simply hot. Alex couldn’t deny she looked forward to seeing him in one tonight just so she could indulge in running her fingers under it and tugging him into whatever position she wanted him in.

Because he would comply with what she wanted.

Now that she’d given up on her anger, the attraction to him was rearing its head again, though she refused to reflect on why she was feeling this intense pull toward him. She’d read enough romances to know that the “let’s get it out of our system” sex never worked out for anyone, but then again, this was different. It was only chemistry, not emotions.

“Mistress Alessandra?” Jessica asked, pushing her head into the changing room. “If you’d like, you can go ahead and prepare your scene station. I’ll have John send Benedict your way when he arrives. The demonstration should start in about thirty minutes once I finish the welcome speech and answer some questions.”

Alex nodded, walking over to the mirror to check her make-up. She looked good, which wasn’t a surprise after she’d spent almost forty minutes ensuring her smoky eyes would be just perfect.

In the clubroom, she went over to the bondage table that she’d told Jessica to have ready for her.
